For the second consecutive year, Veronafiere has had to cancel Vinitaly due to Covid-19, with the next edition of the fair due to take place on 10-13 April 2022.
Vinitaly, which is normally held in April, had been due to take place at the later date of 20-23 June this year
In a release sent to
the drinks business yesterday, the decision by organiser Veronafiere to “postpone” Italy’s major national wine fair to next year was described as “painful” but “compulsory” due to the pandemic, with the country now entering a third lockdown due to the virus.

The convenience store chain acquired six Freedom Oil gas stations in Kosciusko and Marshall counties, as well as a convenience store in McCordsville in central Indiana in a separate purchase. The terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Leesburg-based Freedom Oil had run the gas stations near Warsaw, the orthopedic capital of the world, for nearly two decades. The company started in July 2002 after the Cobb family bought four locations from Gast Fuel and Oil.

OKLAHOMA CITY â Oklahomans may soon by able to get cocktails to go, purchase liquor at a drive-thru window and use an automated machine to dispense wine and beer as part of series of measures that have cleared the state House.
The most controversial of these measures would allow retail spirit licensees to sell alcoholic beverages in an original sealed container via a drive-thru window. House lawmakers at first rejected the proposal, but hours later reversed course and passed it.
